Hi, David. I just wanted to personally welcome you to the group and to let you know that many of our conversations happen on our list server. You can find a signup link on the Startup page... there are no restrictions; anyone may join. It is not a very high-traffic list... from 0 to 10 messages a day, I would say. On that page, you will also find a link to the archives of the list, which has a rich history of discussions on a variety of topics... which we are slowly transcribing over to the wiki. In any event, I look forward to your future participation, in whatever venue. — Ed Pastore 22:47, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Ed. I went to the Startup page an believe I subscribed. I also posted an Intro, but havent seen it yet, not sure how moderated the listserv is but it was about three days ago and there have been several post since. Either I didn't see it or it didn't make it or I did something wrong. Would appreciate any sagely advice you could offer--David Brown 14:01, 13 October 2008 (UTC).
There is no moderation; it should be automatic. I haven't seen evidence of your messages or that you got signed up, so I am not sure what happened there. To sign up, you have to submit the signup form, then when you get a reply back, you need to click the link in that reply to confirm your subscription. If you went through all that and it still didn't work, send me a message at epastore at this domain name and I will manually subscribe you. Sorry for the inconvenience. — Ed Pastore 15:10, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Okay! It worked this time. I didn't get the comfirmation e-mail the first time either so it must have been operator error. I'm there now and that's all that matters at this point. Thanks for your help.--David Brown 12:18, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
