This is the page for the Startup Committee of the Metagovernment and Metascore projects.

Composition

The committee consists of the active members of a list server and is organized as an adhocracy. When Metascore is stable, the committee will attempt to govern itself using that software (with the list server remaining as a fallback, since the software will be experimental and unstable).

Currently, systems associated with this site have various administrators. There has been some discussion of creating a formal organization for the startup process.

How to join

To join the startup committee, please visit the list server signup page. After joining, please introduce yourself to the list and provide a link to your user page on this wiki.

Meetings

From time to time, the Startup committee has meetings via IRC. These meetings are always open to the public. By default, the place for these meetings is the #metascore IRC channel or irc.freenode.net. That channel may also be used at other times for informal discussions related to this project. It is also the default fall-back meeting place if there is ever a problem with the metagovernment.org or metascore.org websites. All discussions on that channel should be logged and posted on this wiki.
