Cyber Democracy

From Metagovernment - Government of, by, and for all the people

Jump to: navigation, search

Cyber Democracy is a concept currently under development which seeks to combine direct democracy with mainstream portable information technology such as smartphones and tablets, in an effort to improve the efficiency and feedback of current organizations, businesses and, ultimately, our representative democratic societies.

The project consists mainly of the re-design of current webforums for easy smartphone and tablet browsing, with an integrated voting option, and the creation of a smartphone/tablet application that will enable users to more easily manage the forums they are registered in. Both of these goals are included in the e-Kratos project: The ciberdemocratic user interface platform.
